Two non-American stations will tell the stories of various gay and lesbian athletes, and the struggles they have faced, starting Saturday.
WNBA: Brittney Griner Feature

Two TV specials on gay athletes will air in the next few days. The first up is CNN’s ‘World Sport Presents: Journey of the Gay Athlete,’ which will air Saturday night on CNN International. The hour-long show features Olympic speed skater Blake Skjellerup, WNBA player Brittney Griner and pro soccer player Robbie Rogers. Sadly, it won’t be available in the United States yet, as far as we can tell.

The other special — called ReOrientation —  will be broadcast in three parts on Canada’s TSN, Jan. 15-17. Various familiar faces — Patrick Burke, Esera Tuaolo, Chris Kluwe — are featured, in addition to several current and former NHL players. The show will be available online.
